Depth of Field Assignment

Reflection: In this assignment we had to create a short depth of field so that the foreground focal point would be in focus and the background drastically blurred. For my single subject image I used one of my classmates and made the branches blurred out in the background. The second image shows the focal point of the tree and I made the flowers and branches blurred out to make the tree the main focus. And the last image is also a focal point of a tree, but this time it’s much closer too see the texture and detail of the tree trunk and the trashcan in the background is distorted to depict a texture. This assignment was a little difficult because it was hard to make it focus, but overall, this assignment was interesting.
